Our Story
The way we lead becomes part of what we leave behind.
Leadership Language Legacy exists to help leaders understand how their presence, language, and choices shape the people and cultures around them. We believe lasting performance begins with the way leadership is experienced—one interaction, one standard, and one room at a time.
Why We Built This
Leadership is shaped in the moments that ask us to grow.
We built Leadership Language Legacy from lessons earned in the work—not from a belief that leadership is mastered by getting everything right.
Some of the most important lessons begin in missteps, difficult conversations, decisions we would make differently, and the honest reflection that follows. Growth asks leaders to look at their impact, learn without defensiveness, and return to the room with greater clarity and care.
Leadership Language Legacy exists to make that road more intentional. We bring forward what experience, failure, mentorship, and growth can teach so leaders can strengthen the way they lead—and make the path a little clearer for the people developing behind them.
Great leaders become great mentors.
Great mentors develop others.
And sometimes, they change the trajectory of a life.
Meet the Founder
Leadership learned in the room.
Erica · Founder, Leadership Language Legacy
Erica’s career has been built inside hospitality operations, where leadership is tested in real time: opening hotels, rebuilding operations, developing teams, navigating change, and leading through the moments when the plan on paper meets the reality in the room.
That operational foundation still shapes her work today. Whether consulting with an operation or working with leaders in a training room, her approach remains practical, human, and grounded in what actually happens when people are responsible for leading others.
Her perspective was shaped as much by mistakes, difficult moments, and honest reflection as by success. The experience taught her that strong systems and standards matter, but people are responsible for carrying them forward.
Erica built Leadership Language Legacy to make leadership development more honest, useful, and lasting—and to create an organization whose work can continue through the leaders, mentors, and future team members it serves.
